Barravento is a Tokyo-based production company dedicated to international co-productions and director-driven filmmaking.

Founded after years of experience on numerous international productions shot in Japan, the company was established in collaboration with the U.S.-based production company Spacemaker Productions, building on long-standing partnerships with creatives and producers worldwide.

Barravento develops projects with international partners while supporting international productions filming in Japan, drawing on extensive experience working with crews and filmmakers from around the world, and focuses on developing original IP for global film adaptation and distribution.
